Scholarship and Recognition
Jenna Ventola, daughter of Tony (Outside Sales) and Linda Ventola, was
recently named one of 20 finalists in the Pre-Teen Pennsylvania Scholarship and
Recognition Program which was held in Harrisburg. This is a by-invitation only
Scholarship and Recognition event involving young ladies 7 to 12 years of age
based on their school academic records, awards and honors won and participation
in outside activities.
In addition to being named “Miss Congeniality”, Jenna also took first prize
in the speech competition, which qualifies her for the National Competition in
Louisiana next July.
This was Jenna’s third consecutive year in the competition and her first year
in the Senior Division.
Graduation Christopher Jacko has graduated magna cum laude
from the University of Connecticut. Formerly a parttime
employee of T&H Hamden, Chris is the son of
Steve Jacko. Chris received a Bachelor of Science
degree in Business Administration with a major in
Marketing. He will attend graduate school in the
spring of 2004.
Student of the Month LaShae Baldwin, daughter of T & H Plainfield’s Stanley Baldwin, was named
Second Grade “Student of the Month” in both January and March 2003.
LaShae attends the Evergreen Elementary School in Plainfield, NJ.
Contest Winner
Alissa Marcello, daughter of Mark Marcello (Datacom), recently participated in a
poster contest for Fire Prevention Week that was sponsored by the Stafford Township,
NJ, Fire Department. Alissa’s poster was selected as the winning submission from her
class at All Saints Regional Catholic School in Manahawkin, NJ, where she is in the first
grade. On Friday, October 10th, Alissa was presented with an award from the Fire
Department. Congratulations, Alissa, on your achievement! |
