Design and Content Stage

We've got a deal...

Once your management has approved our website plan and cost estimates, we move to the creative phase.

Creating Design

In the design phase, we take your ideas and translate them into graphics. The sequence that this process follows includes the following tasks.

  • Rough out the graphics and interface design.
  • Develop story boards.
  • Get approval of the page templates, page design variations, and overall graphic design specifications.
  • Create the artwork.

Creating Content

The content of your website could not be more important. It reflects who you are and how you are perceived by your clients. We thus put a lot of time and effort into getting it right.

We typically use the following steps to shape the content of your website into a structure that integrates all of your selling efforts.

  1. Enlist the support of each department in your organization to assign a representative to help refine the content as it emerges.
  2. Identify the technical support required to produce your content.
  3. Design a site map that defines how the site will be structured.
  4. Choose the browser support we feel is right for your audience.
  5. Based on your audience profile, create a check list against which you can verify that your site fills the needs of your potential users.
  6. Incorporate the content components into the actual website pages.
  7. Build prototypes of the site against which we can test the navigational features.

Marketing the website

Marketing your website simply means attracting as many clients to it as possible. There are several means available to do this...

  • Work with us to make your website an integral part of all your marketing campaigns and corporate communications programs.
  • Ensure that your Web address appears on every piece of correspondence and marketing collateral that your organization generates.
  • List your site in standard Web indexes, such as Google, Yahoo, Altavista, MSN, and AOL.
  • Work with us to fashion keywords and meta tags to present the best possible profile to a search engine.
  • Cross-promote your site with affiliated businesses, professional organizations, and broadcast or print media.
  • Launch a Microsite email program designed to get a newsletter into the hands of your customers periodically. A Microsite graphically presents your newsletter in the context of an email with links to your website. The newsletter keeps customers abreast of whats going on with your organization and invites them to return to your website for details.
